Why all american malls are so ugly designed and empty?

Taste is subjective. While you certainly have a right to your opinion, I don't think that mall looks bad.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I took those pictures in the middle of a workday in a rural industrial town. There aren't a lot of shoppers out that time of day in Danville.
I actually liked this particular Belk department store. Its integration with the rest of this multi-level regional mall lends evokes an upscale ambience. Not to trail off on a tangent, but this enclosed mall is light years ahead of some of some explicitly upscale malls (Lenox Square).
