This reminds me of the former McRae's department store building at Springdale Mall in Mobile, AL. It had a very boxy, minimalist design as well.

ReplyDeleteBelk was breaking from its standard mall store look around the period this place was built. I wouldn't call it an excellent design, but it ain't bad.
