    Ah, this store had so much potential to become something else rather than an extension of Belk. Neiman's.. Nordy's... Bloomies... Saks relocation. I honestly did think one of those things were going to happen.

    Not with dominant anchors like Macy's and Belk. :-(

    Hudson Belk and Macy's had a lot to lose by letting someone more upscale into the mall.

    In a sense, they're arresting their own development for the preservation of market share. I wish it could have been different, but what can you do?
