mall and department store photography bordering on the obsessive.

Former Northridge Mall (now Granville Complex), Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Parking lot view showing Sears and Boston Store anchors, circa 2003. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
I think what happened was that the logo of the Boston Store changed. From what I can tell from research, that was always the department store at that particular location.
They are a part of the Bon-Ton Family after formerly being a part of Proffitt's (later Saks) Northern Division along with Carson Pirie Scott, Bergner's, Younkers, and Herberger's. Proffitt's purchased the division in 1998 before becoming Saks. Bon Ton bought the division from Saks in 2005.
bigmallrat: Boston Store is a pretty typical mid-market deparment store. Very Macy's/Dillard's. I've never been to one, but it's a lot like Carson Pirie Scott, which is a sister store that I have been to.
That Boston Store sign looks a little out of place, did that used to be be something else?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, don't take a lack of comments as there being a lack of visitors here, I still drop in every day to check things out!
Thanks for your support :-)
