This is one of the best Sears exteriors I've ever seen, but the interior bites. Never been in the elevator.
At Crabtree, my sentimental favorite store has always been Hudson Belk, though they've totally screwed up the exterior. I used to like Hecht's and Lord & Taylor a lot, but just about every old May Company store looks alike, so they don't stand out that much.

One of my favorite stores in one of my favorite malls. Really needs an upgrade, though. A new elevator would help.

Well, I can tell you that the "1" light inside is missing. At least, I think it's the "1."

ReplyDeleteI guess it's a matter of principle. It's only been around for 12-13 years, and the hole left behind is rather unsettling.
