The most refreshing thing is this Macy's hasn't been whitewashed which allows it some distinction from other Macy's.
ReplyDeleteI agree. A whitewashed store would look very odd here. This is one seriously earth-toned mall!
ReplyDeleteEven with a very plain, brutalist exterior, brick looks far richer than the cheap gray and white stucco these days. Plus, brick like this doesn't mildew as fast as its put up.
