A very striking exterior entrance.
ReplyDeleteThe interior's not bad either. Both are very much of their era.
ReplyDeleteElegant and understated in a way that was perfected by mid-century mod.
ReplyDeleteSaks hasn't built a truly bad store yet. This continues the tradition.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like the mall entrance, but the exterior entrance looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe mall entrance is very "early Eighties." I can remember when this kind of configuration was very fashionable. It's a little dated now.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the layout and departments look like. Does it have vendor shops?
ReplyDeleteNo clue. I've never been to this store personally.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best Saks Fifth Avenue's have ever shopped at! It has a very elegant interior. DewN Nitek: Some Saks do have vendors but not all of them, like Louis Vuitton.
ReplyDeleteIn an area as prosperous as stamford, I'd imagine Saks would be excellent. Thanks for the comments.
ReplyDeleteThis store is stated to close in 2014. There is a freestanding store in Greenwich.
